Become a Better Athlete

Hello,
        My name is Matt Everson. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Masters of Education in Sports Management at the University of Minnesota, I have decided to take my knowledge and skill set and use it to better sports in the Minneapoils/St. Paul - Twin Cities area. 
        As most should know, throughout the past 30 years, sports has had a drastic effect in America.  Women's sports have received many more opportunities through the establishment of Title IX.  And men's sports have been tougher and tougher to make it to the next, elite level. While both women and men sports continue to get more competitive and tough, it is safe to say that youth and high school sports have a correlation with professional athletes performing so well. 
        I believe, as a former University of Minnesota Golden Gopher wrestler, getting technical advice from an elite athlete is the way to make it to the next step. Year after year camps everywhere instruct kids how to better perform in their respective sports. Inside those camps, hundreds of kids learn from a select few athletes. The ratio may sometimes be 25 to 1 (25 high school or youth kids to 1 counselor or instructor). Wouldn't it be smarter to get 1 on 1 attention at the same cost?
        If, in my years as an athlete, I would have had the opportunity to work one-on-one with an elite college or professional athlete, I would have been explicably better. However, I never had that opportunity. Private Lessons MN wants to give each and every youth and high school athlete an opportunity to get elite lessons from elite athletes. Not only will the young athletes receive experience they cannot receive any place else, but they will learn techniques that will take them one step closer to becoming an elite athlete themselves.
        If youth and high school athletes utilize this opportunity to better their sport performance, the future for these young athletes can be promising.
